15 februarie. Odată cu atâta zăpadă căzută în ultima perioadă cred că fiecare se gândește la o primăvară călduroasă sau măcar la o temperatură pozitivă. Ei bine, Vineri o să vă crească temperatura imediat. Cum? Cu ce? Când? Acum!

Începem încălzirea cu ajutorul lui Finch.
Cine este Finch?
Este un domn din Marea Britanie, din Leeds! Mister Finch! Mister Butterfly Finch!
Și ce are el așa de special de vreți să ne încălzim cu el? Poate face genuflexiuni, poate alerga? Aleargă mai repede ca mine?
Nu! El creează niște personaje de poveste. Le creează cu atâta migală și atenție pentru ca voi să vă bucurați și să vă puteți juca cu ele. Asta era atmosfera într-o mică sală plină de copii care erau nespus de curioși. Minunat, nu?

Din mâinile lui Mister Finch se pare că au ieșit fluturi. Asta da poveste. Și nu numai fluturi ci și păsări, iepuri si multe alte necuvântătoare. Într-un cuvânt natura este ceea ce îi dă inspirație pentru a bucura pe toate lumea cu obiectele creeate de el.

Imaginația și priceperea nu au limite in Marea Britanie. De cele mai multe ori folosește materiale reciclate pentru că acestea oferă autenticitate, șarm, istorie și multe amintiri obiectelor creeate de el. Finch a urmat un curs de artă acum mulți ani, dar modul de lucru și capacitățile lui s-au dezvoltat în timp. În general, arta cusutului se adresează predominant părții feminine, dar lucrul acesta nu i-a pus piedici pasiunii lui. Pe lângă aceasta îi plac filmele vechi, cărțile dar să și adune tot felul de lucruri mici care îi fac viața mai colorată.

Inspiraţia mea principală vine din natură. Florile, insectele şi păsările mă fascinează într-adevăr mă cu ciclurile lor de viaţă uimitoare. Folclorul britanic este, de asemenea, atât de frumos și bogat în poveşti fabuloase. Iepurii de lună, diavolii eleganți îmbrăcați sunt gata să vă abată calea.
Umanizarea animalelor, cu pantofi şi cizme este ceva ce am făcut întotdeauna şi îmi imaginez că ele or să prindă viaţă la noapte.

Finch. Butterfly Finch

15th of February. With all the snow that poured lately, I think everyone is thinking about the warm spring, or at least some positive degrees in our thermometers. Well, Vineri will rise the temperature in a split second! How? What with? When? Now!

We begin warming with the help of Finch.
Who is Finch?
He is a man from the Great Britain, Leeds, to be more precise. Mister Finch! Mister Butterfly Finch!
So, what qualities does he posses that make him so special and you think can heat the atmosphere? Can he bend?  Can he run? Can he run faster than me?
No! He creates wonderland characters . He creates them with such  carefulness and attention so that you can play with them. This was the atmosphere of a small room full of unspeakable curios children. Wonderful, ha?

It seems that butterflies came out of the hands of mister Finch. Such a story! And not only butterflies, but also birds rabbits and other wilds. To put it all in one word: Nature. It is what inspires him to be able to spread joy all around.

Imagination and handicraft are limitless in Great Britain. He mostly uses recycled materials because these lend authenticity , charm, pieces of history and memories to objects. Finch attended an art class many years ago, but his methods and skills developed in time. The art of sewing is usually addressed to women but this did not detain his passion. Besides sewing he loves old cinema, books, and gathering small objects that color his life.

My main inspirations come from nature and often I return to certain ideas again and again. Flowers, insects and birds really fascinate me with their amazing life cycles and extraordinary nests and behaviour. British folklore is also so beautifully rich in fabulous stories. Moon gazing hares and a smartly dressed devil ready to invite you to stray from the path. Humanising animals with shoes and boots is something Ive always done and I imagine them to come alive at night.
